Featuring the same technology as the trackpads of the latest MacBook and MacBook Pro laptops, this weighty wireless peripheral brings multi-touch control fun to desktop machines.
Sturdy and comfortable in use, it’s capable of recognising four-fingered gestures and runs on two AA batteries.
While the intuitive controls – like pinch to zoom – do save time for regular tasks, they lack precision for more fussy programs such as Photoshop and Final Cut. You can also use the pad with a Windows PC, where it’s limited to single-touch and click functions.
Tactile and intuitive, I’d be quite happy
to use one on a daily basis, but many won’t. Make sure you try before you buy.
